If you’ve completed a PDC and are wondering how to turn permaculture theory into confident, practical action, this course is for you.

Permaculture in Practice is a 6-day immersive, hands-on course held at Brogo Permaculture Gardens, from 9–14 April 2026.

This is not a classroom course.

It’s a practical, skills-based learning experience designed for people who want to:

  • Build real experience with earthworks, water systems and food forests

  • Work hands-on with soil regeneration and integrated design

  • Deepen confidence in applying permaculture principles in the real world

  • Learn by doing, alongside experienced practitioners and educators

Over six full days, you’ll be actively involved in:

  • Practical earthworks and water management

  • Establishing and managing food forest systems

  • Soil improvement and regenerative techniques

  • Observing and applying permaculture design in a working landscape

  • Completing Advanced Permaculture Design on a real site

This course is ideal for:

PDC graduates and Permaculture Practitioners wanting deeper practical experience

and others with a deep understnading of permaculture theory either from personal study or other courses such as

  • Educators, designers, growers and landholders ready to move beyond theory

Places are limited to ensure a high-quality, hands-on learning environment.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share:

  • What you’ll actually be doing each day

  • Trainer profiles

  • Practical permaculture tips you can use immediately

If you’re ready to move from knowing permaculture to doing permaculture, we’d love to have you with us.

Warm regards,

John, Sharon, Jonny, Aaron and Todd
